The Gloucestershire Gay & Lesbian Community (GGLC)

41 years old and the longest running group in the country

The Gloucestershire Gay and Lesbian Community is a friendly social group that welcomes people of all sexualities and ages. The group aims to provide a meeting place for people who want to meet others similar to themselves in a relaxed social environment without the pressures associated with the gay "scene".

The GGLC aims to provide the following:

  • To promote the interests, dignity and well-being of gay men and lesbians  in and around Gloucestershire.

  • To provide weekly social meetings and other social events.

  • To provide relevant health and well-being information.

  • To provide support to any campaigns relevant to the aims of the society in relation to issues affecting gay men and lesbians.

The GGLC  meets in a Gloucester City Centre location on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm. New members and visitors who would like to join us can contact the committee in advance via the group email  (info@gglc.co.uk) or phone   07050 627273 . .
